roaming_kate23TM thinks that the fact that Pope Leo says to be Inclusive to Latin Mass adherents. Is some sort of green light to have Latin Mass-and ONLY Latin Mass.
Here’s the thing:
This is not “OK we’re going to go back to Latin Mass”. Not even fucking close.
Pope Leo is being very kind to be this conciliatory.
Pope Francis,less so.That’s because people went so hard when it came to Latin Mass-Pope Francis kept his haters-quite a lot of whom are Latin Mass adherents-at a distance.And you couldn’t blame him when you read what they were saying about Pope Francis.They were CONSTANTLY having a go at him.6
Again, a note:Pope Leo grew up pre-Vatican II(and afterwards too.)Thing is, he’s progressive in ways that matter.Could he do better when it comes to LGBTQ? Yes(.
