Been wanting to talk about the Neil Gaiman drama for a while.And it is just the tip of the iceberg but..he is not the only one who is in the wrong here.

TL:DR:he is a predator.And his wife is complicit in it as well.He has actually drought women to him. *she* hasn’t really said anything (claims it has to do with divorce and custody issues(at least she’s divorcing him..but as I said before:she is complicit.And that is NOT a good thing.She called him “dark and twisted”. I’m sure she will have something to say at some point..I hope to god she explains the shit out of herself.

From everything that has been put out there ..NONE of the people he assaulted and harassed were consenting. He made people who he had sex with call him “master”.

Any deals he has..well they are NOT happening now.There was going to be another graphic novel based on one of his books.Yeahno. The other day I was trying to find another book and I saw I have a copy of Neil’s American Gods(great book..would NOT rea read it knowing what I know now.)

One of the YouTubers I watch is always talking about how they are short on cash but this year she got advent calendars from:

Macy’s

Blue Mercury

(None of them cheap BTW)

AND she and her husband are going on cruises and trips out of town AND they’re doing a home reno. AND spend a fair amount on Christmas gifts.

 The funeral scam where they stand(and walk)on the median of a street(or right in the middle of the street sometimes.) But it’s always the same picture of the same kid and they need money for funeral expenses. Or need lots of money for expensive treat,ents.

When they are asked  where the funeral is they start playing dumb or laugh at you(or both.)

I have seen a LOT of these scams. They are at places where there is high visibility and potentially get the most donations. Do a search about this online..the fact that this is a scam  is a KNOWN thing.

Well.T*ump has to turn himself in by the middle of the month. Y’all know he is not going quietly and this is just going to stir up the MAGAS. For those that think he is going to run for President again they can keep on dreaming.

There are a whole bunch of people(including Rudy Giuliani) who were indicted. Throw the whole damn library at them,I say.

Don’s Family Vacations is a YouTuber who has had every bad thing you can think of. Some of it is down to bad luck, yes.His father died(had not been in the best of health for a while.)

He and some other cruisers were left by the tour bus that was taking them to the ship.I do not know the particulars.TBH Don(and a few other YouTube cruisers) seem to spend a lot of time nitpicking things that are out of their control lately.That hasn’t always been the case.Something has changed.

Now, however he is talking about the fact he is going to be kicked out of his house. This is something that he has known about for a while.So why is he not taking care of that instead of being on a cruise? There is a lot that is not being said here. It’s not shaming because as I said there is MUCH more to the story. If he would be honest(which he usually is) that would go a long way.

I have this fear of running into my former boss,especially in a place where I can’t get away from them or I’m with someone who doesn’t know what is going on and I have to explain it to them.

The worry is that they will try to talk to ,me and I will not talk to them.I don’t care. Let them make a fucking scene because I am not going to say anything to them.Or that they will claim that I was exaggerating that it wasn’t that bad.

1)They would say that.

2)I sure as shit am NOT exaggerating.

For another thing if the place was doing so well(it was not) then why did it get bought out by another company? I can hazard a few bets and I’d be more or less correct.I won’t get into the particulars but “disorganised” is exactly the word I would use for it.

Once in a while I would look at their Facebook page to see if there was a picture of the office that I worked at and it was RARE. Trying to present a happy front when it’s anything but. They all looked fucking miserable-my thought was “well, it hasn’t got any less toxic since I was working there”. The miserableness is why they got bought out..the whole company not just where I worked . No word if it’s helped any but I don’t doubt that they(the office I worked at) is a big reason for it.

I have run into my former boss..from that job .Just walked by and acted like they didn’t exist.I have no reason to talk to them.I’d like to be able to say that I would be able to handle them if I were in a situation where I could not get away from them. On a related note, I go by there every so often and all of the bad memories come flooding black.

Why follow people you don’t like?

This is so true, and I see quite a bit of this online.

I’m not going to tell people who they can and can’t be friends with because that is high school bullshit.If you truly don’t like someone maybe it’s time to go through your friends list and do some pruning. You like someone but disagree with them on fundamental things(like politics and religion just to name a few things.) I don’t care what religion you are but when you try to push it on people(which happened to a friend of mine..a mutual friend got butt hurt when my friend decided that she was not going to go with their religion.

See also:the person who had(up until that time) been fairly friendly with me.Until the day that I said that I was thinking about becoming vegetarian part time.I have no idea why but this set.her.off. I’ve talked about this before but this was at a time when vegetarian food was not as good as it is now. I told her that she was being ridiculous and told her so.I was rather unkind,I fully admit to that.

As I said before I do not like the subtle(and not so subtle) bullying that I have run into over the years. Eventually those people fade away(I can think of an example from the Hannibal fandom..eventually she disappeared and turned up in another fandom and did the same thing and got upset when people did not want to play along.She referred to herself as the “tugboat” of one of the fandoms that she was in. That made me roll my eyes so hard and I was far from the only person that was annoyed by her. I could name a ton of examples from my life and we’d be here for ages.

MarVon McCray.. This is such a fucked up situation. His wife rescued him after he tried to kill himself . What has been revealed about their relationship is..you wouldn’t believe it unless you watched some of the videos on the subject.

MarVon has been having health issues and whether that is related to some..supplements the wife has been giving him or he was having them before..she also does not trust doctors and has moved MarVon from one hospital to another. Also, she’s a Jehovah’s Witness so that also limits what sort of treatments he can have. Just treating any sort of health issues with twigs and berries as it were ,is her thing.

(I will say, as a sidebar here, that Meghan Walsh, even though she seems like she’s not all there..at least she is OK with her kids going to a doctor for checkups.)

MarVon is African American and his wife is Hispanic.There are people who have certain feelings about this.I love Sharell’s World but..for her to say that only African American blogger/vloggers can talk about the MarVon case? Really? I certainly don’t agree with Sharell on everything (He takedowns of some of the Bravo Ho’wives are the stuff of legend.)

Elon Musk buying Twitter is no bueno. Do I like it?No. Am I going elsewhere?well, no. I made an account at a Twitter clone but I don’t think I’m going to use it, in spite of everything.

Some of the people I know have been making noises about moving to other places . It’s a bit of a wait and see thing right now. Thing is, some of the alternatives aren’t that great either. The place I signed up for was having issues because of the HUGE amount of people that were signing up.

Twitter has had its issues over the years(well before it was bought by the man baby douchebag).. I have so many non-Fannibal friends that are not going to go elsewhere so there is one reason to stay where I am. God how I wish that I could get rid of Facebook because if there is anyone that is worse than He Who Shall Not Be Named, it’s Mark Zuckerberg. Literally the only reason that I don’t get rid of my Facebook is that it’s a way for me to keep up with what family who live out of state are doing.

It’s amazing to me, how you can be in multiple fandoms, etc. and have connections you didn’t known about. The best example of this is an online friend of mine who I met when I first started getting online.We had several mutual friends, but drifted apart for various reasons (which could be a separate post if you’d like).

Fast forwards to a few weeks ago and I discovered that she was following several of the same people that I am in the Hannibal fandom-and she’s a Fannibal! The internet is a small damn world, seriously!

Still trying to work up the courage to say “hey, it’s me”. The situation that made us drift apart is a complex one. Like I said, possibly the subject of another post. There are some complicated feelings on her side(I know this because I commented on her LiveJournal and it looks like she erased all of the comments. I don’t have a problem with that.
