Nits(head lice)/chicken pox(*points to subject line*)/strep throat.
Braces/retainers(Istill remember having to stay very still when they used this gross tasting mold so they could figure out my situation(how long I would need them-2 years as it turned out.)Also when I had my braces taken off I stood in front of a mirror for 10 minutes looking at my teeth-I hadn’t seen them without metal on them for 2 years after all! Then I had a retainer(and yes, I “lost” mine .Talking to people my age..apparently that was a pretty common thing,lol
6th Grade Camp(Not sure if this was a California thing but it was a way for youngsters to appreciate “nature”. Yeah..it just made me LESS outdoorsy.
Scholastic Book Fair I could never get my parents to give me money to get books(and I’ve been a reader since I was pretty young and would WANT me to read.)
