St. Petersburg was cancelled but supposedly AFTER the OP had partially paid for the cruise.I am not sure why they are so surprised that they would not go to Russia with what is going on(and has been going on for a while.)
Someone replied that they were shit out of luck.

Port cancellations are not that common due to weather,or politics.
(It’s true.We’ve gone to other ports or missed them entirely because of weather.)
The OP said “two ports dropped is too much at this price”.
(Shudder to think what they paid if missing ports for perfectly legit reasons is THIS upsetting to them!)

“I purchased a cruise based on the ports”.

My rant concerns the cancellation of certain posts we PAID to see.
(Y’all need to be realistic but it is CLEAR that they are ..challenged where that is concerned.)

Cruise lines would not just cancel posts willy nilly.
(This is something I see every so often where someone will miss a port and it is claimed that “a lot” of people onboard were upset. A LOGICAL person would understand why the captain made that decision.)
