(I call so much bullshit on this one. The usual HAL cruiser stereotype of Carnival cruisers is that they drink drinks that are every colour of the rainbow..with umbrellas in them.Which isn’t even close to the truth.I’ve never cruised with Carnival but even I know that these opinions are coming from people who have never been on a Carnival ship.And never will. Don’t hate..the amount of hate that I see for other cruise lines and “cheating” on HAL because they are trying other cruise lines. Which is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard, and I have heard a LOT.)
On a related note:
Put off by all of the snobbery towards people who try other cruise lines.
(This is LITERALLY YMMV. Not the snobbery part of it but the “trying other cruise lines” part of it. HAL is not the be all and end all. The amount of people trying to turn HAL into a Cunard Clone..yeah, as I have said a zillion times:Cunard is literally in its own class. People have this ridiculous perception of cruising as being like something off of Titanic.I would say that that movie has given people ridiculous expectations of cruises(that is putting it mildly…)
Also related:HAL does not share Half Moon Cay with Carnival -the ships have never been there at the same time.
(Heaven forbid that you have to be on HMC with all of the great unwashed from a Carnival ship. *eyeroll*)
