[Hitting differently this year]

roaming_kate23*With everything that has been going on. Still hard to believe that the Queen is gone and we now have King Charles III.(It gives me pause when I say it..even after 3 days.)
*We had a hurricane in the Gulf Of Mexico which was supposed to bring pretty bad weather.Not where I live.In the mountains though, it was pretty gnarly.
*I have been cooking dinner for my parents at least once a weekend when I am home.This weekend I also made a peach crisp, and two loaves of pumpkin bread. One of the loaves is going home with me and will be breakfast for several days.

(Right now he is in Pakistan and it is REALLY interesting. The culture, the food…especially the food.It looks SO good!)
The OMG!Weddings channel for My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding videos. What I can’t believe is that some of the girls who are getting married are 1) 14, 15,16,17 years old.Yes, really.
2) They barely know the person that they are marrying and get married within a few months of one(sometimes barely) meeting.
3)Once they’re married it ids a very limited lifestyle. Basically having as many babies as possible and being a housewife.It’s the opposite of feminism.
