Just watched the 8th episode of The New Pope. Voiello does not take shit from anyone and the spoiler I read about him..makes a whole lot of sense,I’ll just leave it at that.
I’m wondering if the season finale is going to be a bit longer so they can wrap up all of the storylines that have been going all season. The weird thing is, the multiple storylines totally work.I’ve seen criticism of that, people who disagree with me.I stand by my opinion ,and I’ll do an update later(a week from now).
So curious if anyone in Vatican City has seen the show and what they think of it. ‘Cause, as I mentioned the other day, it’s art imitating life in a major way.
Believe it or not one of the things I like is when they show things that (if you grew up Catholic) are very relatable.Grow up Catholic and anything related to the Church-especially if you went to Catholic school or had to go to Mass every Sunday as a kid until you were old enough to refuse to go the way I did.
My relationship with Catholicism is a complicated one.
