[Weekend report,June 14-16 2019]

roaming_kate23Friday:In the morning I went to my niece’s promotion(middle school to high school) and my youngest nephew graduated from high school(he’s a few years older than my niece).Both ceremonies were outside which meant I got a LOT of sun and in fact sunburned! But totally worth it as how often do your nieces and nephews graduate/get promoted?)
My brother’s house is within walking distance of the school so I walked home(it was a nice walk,not too hot!)
There were presents(my sister-in-law’s family were all down from Sacramento but it was fun-pizza and ice cream and cookies for dessert.
Saturday:Normal Saturday BUT.. in the evening my parents and I went to see the Elton John movie(Rocket Man).We all loved it.Afterwards we had dinner at a Greek restaurant that was close to the movie theater.
Sunday:Made sure my dad was well taken care of because it was Father’s Day(and I had a really good card and gift for him.Mom went all out and fixed brunch for all of the dads(my dad, my brother, and my sister-in-law’s father, all of them dads).
