Now..to the other part of this post. Apparently San Diego does not have diversity in food.
Erm.. we have:
Ethiopian(SO good but you have to eat with your hands which makes it interesting.)
Vietnamese/Korean/Chinese(and we have the Convoy district with every kind of Asian food you can think of and then some.)
Indian(we have a large Indian(among others) population and they are LEGIT.)
Mexican(obviously. And,IMO sometimes the hole in the wall taco stands are the best ones.)
When my mom first started back at her job she had to do home visits with her students. One of the first ones had the last name Nguyen.My mom wasn’t sure how to pronounce it(like “win” as it turns out.)
