roaming_kate23I think the tag says it all really. But let me explain just a little:
I think that it is perfect to discuss some things.Most specifically being on the spectrum.
This is gonna get sweary and ranty.You HAVE been warned.Well, maybe not this time so much.I am building up to it.
Being on the spectrum means that certain people mistake me for being..not a pushover exactly. I would say that the first example I can think of is bosses. I am already socially awkward and there was at least one job that I had(actually the first one out of high school) where I struggled to fit in.
AND I was the most recent hire which meant that I got all of the dogs body jobs.I wound up nopeing out of there..I got accused of just sitting around and not doing much of anything(or looking at the stock-this was a record store).Truth be known there wasn’t much to be done. Compared to the other record stores in the neighbourhood we were never crazy busy. The video store section of the store was busy..but even then..and when it wasn’t busy I frequently would be tidying. Again, truth be known: This was way out of my pay grade. TL:DR: Not surprised I only lasted a month.
