roaming_kate23There is a movie called The Ugly Stepsister that is coming out next month. It is a Cinderella retelling but from ther point of view of one of the stepsisters.
A subversion already but..
The mom-the stepmom of the Cinderella character- goes to EXTREMES to make the stepsister -her bio daughter-beautiful all so she can marry the prince.
Can only think of one theatre near me that might be showing it-the closest thing to an art house theater since our dedicated one(Hillcrest Cinemas and the only one I believe?) has closed .
