roaming_kate23Fun fact:Some Like It Hot was filmed at the Hotel Del In San Diego-on Coronado.There are a few places in the stores in the hotel where you can find Some Like It Hot swag.
Recently there was a Broadway adaption of Some Like It Hot.They stopped in San Diego and it was declared
Some Like It Hot day! They had the cast there.
Best part?The gal who was playing Marilyn Monroe’s part was a person of colour!
There have been quite a few movies filmed in San Diego including:
Almost Famous which used the San Diego Sports Arena as a filming location.It looks like it did when I went there for my first concert and that was 16 years after the movie takes place!
