We went by the scout hut in a city park near my parents’ house.I did a year of Girl Scouts (and also ballet and gymnastics ..not all in the same year.). There is a good reason I only lasted a year in Girl Scouts.The Scout hut was also used by the Boy Scouts and we shared it with another Girl Scout troop.This is why we had an issue,The lady in charge of two groups of Girl Scouts had rules.Our troop had to go to the bathroom in the city park.I remember walking to the park bathroom in very heavy rain.

According to my mom the troop leader had some mental health issues.Maybe not the best person to be in charge of a bunch of Girl Scouts..I’m sympathetic to a point but…I swear this is why I do not like public bathrooms(and by extension,anything in the realm of outhouses.)

My cousin’s kids all had what I would call…rustic weddings. And yes,outhouses.In a not very well lit place.That,IMO is a(I am so sorry..) shit show waiting to happen. I think the most recent wedding that I went to had actual flush toilets thank goodness.
