“The HAL demographic is not dying off”.
(Well,some of the nost elderly,crusty posters do not post anymore.Pretty fair to assume that they are dead at this point because they were old when they started posting on the HAL boards.)
OG posters like HAL’s “quiet elegance”.IOW they want HAL to be child free which is never going to happen .
This is turning into the kid thread.
(This is NOT a good look)
Of course it’s not a wanky thread without lots of thread drift and we got plenty of that because people start connecting what happened on that cruise to cutbacks(the cutbacks have been more so since ‘Rona but to hear the diehards tell it it happened before and they feel as this is a personal attack against them and HAL only cares about newer passengers and not them.)
Well..could that have anything to do with them going on websites like Cruise Critic and complaining about petty bullshit?Also they think that they are anonymous when they post on the HAL boards(spoiler alert:They aren’t)
*We missed the inner passage in Alaska.
“Many” people were upset and frustrated.
(Yeah right.)
Look, it is in the paperwork ..changes can happen, missed ports and the like(of all the cruises I’ve been on it hasn’t happened that much)
*Bad service on the Koningsdam .the comments were so petty that I can’t help but think some if it is about being one of HAL’s newer ships(and modern looking which also has always rubbed diehards the wrong. way. The diehards were dissing it before they had even seen any pictures of it. Oh how I wish I was exaggerating but I’m not.)
