roaming_kate23*Apparently there is a HAL President’s Club and it is by invite and also you have to have 1400 days.I don’t doubt that there are people on the HAL boards that belong to the President’s Club but they want to keep it on the down low.There are others,I can tell, who would shout it from the rooftops.
Do you get anything?Recognition onboard and someone to show you to your cabin but that is about it, There are people who brag about all of the crew members they know and the crew members know them by name.Yes, they know who you are and they talk MAD shit about you behind your back.
Apparently there were enough President’s Club members to shut down one of the specialty(pay to eat there) restaraunts. Whinging about how they got bounced from their reservation at the Pinnacle Grill for a President’s Club member. They complained and heard from everyone(and you KNOW that they were being called a pain in the ass behind the scenes.)
President’s Club members who do NOT flaunt their status are appreciated.Of course there are posters on the HAL boards who are snobby in other ways. This is a long established fact.
*Limited set times because of a group onboard which the OP had not been told about.It’s a secret to hear people on the Cruise Critic boards tell it but there is a thread where they could find that information and go from there accordingly.
