[Giving me ALL the feels]

So I’ve watched 7 of the 10 episodes of Tales Of The City on Netflix and..I love it.SO much! Stayed up way past my bedtime to watch the first 2 episodes and after that went to bed with the biggest smile on my face.

There is SO much to like here-it’s very relatable..there have been a few comments along the line that it’s maybe a little TOO PC but I don’t think so.

I saw a spoiler about one of the plot points in the story and if I hadn’t seen that spoiler..well, it’s pretty spot on, and I haven’t watched all of the episodes yet(I will post a follow-up when I do.)

Changes from the books:

Shawna not knowing she was adopted(in the books she knows she’s adopted from a young age)

Wren is now a neighbour/fuck buddy instead of the way that she and Brian meet in the book)

There is a completely different “B” story/mystery than in the books(the book mystery is,IMO a little over the top and add to that a B+ plot involving Mary Ann(book husband and TV series husband are assholes, but in different ways) which wasn’t needed particularly.

Also love some of the new ,non-book characters(I don’t know if they are going to do a second season but I hope they do)
