roaming_kate23Not sure how I got stuck on these but I’ve been watching videos of people with service dogs
Some of them good(a very few) but most of them have attitudes(you would not believe how many videos by service dog handlers mention them being stalked..more than you would think.
Here’s the thing:I think that people have been emboldened by being able to post videos on YouTube.Are there people that bother guide dogs?Of course there are.I think that the vast majority of then population knows well not to bother a guide dog when they are working.
What I’m about to say might seem really crass(and I’m thinking maybe it’s a YouTube thing)..I wonder if they really need service dogs.Yeah,I said it. Just watch some of the videos and you’ll see what I mean.Doesn’t help that if they perceive some sort of slight they go off on one. And before you say “not all disabilities are visible”.. ..it’s not that I don’t know that(I do)..and I know it sounds like I’m pulling all of this out of my ass but I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
