If you bring your own snacks onboard the ship,it’s not gauche. And don’t let anyone tell you that it is.What is surprising is the amount of people who DO.

Why would you bring your own snacks when there are lots in the Lido.
(There are a LOT of reasons.Food allergies for one.And the Lido doesn’t have *everything* and what they do have onboard you have to pay a pretty penny for it.)

Wondered how long it was going to take for someone to say this
(Yep. There is a LOT of food on HAL ships but what if you have a lot of food allergies.Or are very picky.I’ll use my nephew as an example:I was worried he would not get enough to eat but he more or less lived on pizza, pasta and a few other things.)

People with dietary issues.
(Or allergies as I said before but some people who claim to have allergies but aren’t careful enough which makes me wonder..)

I don’t know why this bothers people so much.
(Y’know.. *points to subject line* I always bring snacks to take when we go on a shore excursion in case we can’t get a meal.)

I am weary of the “plenty of food on the ship”
(But I’m willing to bet you’ve never starved when you’re on a cruise.)
