Then, there was a dress code thread.It’s been a while since we had one of those and the old guard were there with their opinions(and the usual stereotyping of other cruise lines’ passengers wearing wife beaters and daisy dukes to the MDR.Though that can backfire on you as Rev. Douchebag found out years ago when he posted pictures of people that he thought were not appropriately dressed for Formal night(as it was then)Maybe they had a later dinner time?This is Rev. Douchebag we’re talking about and he expected the formal night rules to be adhered to to the letter. Of course, that’s not true anymore.I doubt that he would try something like that now.
I had heard that alluded to a few times, and did some googling and was not at all surprised to find out that he had done something like this. He got plenty of hear for it, but he also got quite a few “atta boys” as well.He’s one of those people who always makes the comment about how HAL used to be a lot dressier and formal way back when.Yes, and as with a lot of things, times change. “People used to dress for dinner on HAL”.Yes. USED TO.
