roaming_kate23I keep getting ads on Facebook for off brand (independently made) Nespresso pods.Only problem is that they are for the original machine(mine is the Vertuo). Great, call me when you have less expensive cups for *my* machine.
They claim that their pods are compostable as compared to what I have.Thing is, you can recycle my pods when you save up enough of them(which I have done already.Twice.) Not everyone can compost,or wants to. The fact that you can send them back and they make things out of the aluminum (and occasionally have them as giveaways when you buy something from the Nespresso website or at their stores).
As far as price points go?They’re about the same. Plus they don’t do free shipping if you buy a certain amount of coffee the way Nespresso does. Is Nespresso spendy?Oh yeah, but it’s a monthly expense which I don’t mind having.
