[The stupid is, well, stupid]

roaming_kate23There was an update from Dr. Amy(who I have talked about on here before) WRT to a mom who had her baby outside.In the backyard.In a kiddie pool. With no medical assistance. That’s about as crunchy as it gets. Crunchy types go from moderately crunchy to the militantly crunchy(no doctors appointments for anyone.Ever.) amongst other things.
So now the baby is 8 months old and it is shocking;
He cannot hold his head up/sit up/roll over.He is stiff and frequently fussy. 8 months old chronologically but more like 3 months old developmentally.That’s quite a big gap.One that, since the mom won’t have anything to do with doctors(until now she was was SO concerned she finally decided to break down and see a doctor.)
The baby can’t swallow anything apart from breast milk.He was born blue, at 41 and a half weeks(the mom was going to use castor oil to induce labour bit went to a chiropractor to induce.Yes, a chiropractor. She also claims that he was not born with any sort of issues but he WAS..and the things that she is describing are the hallmarks of him having some pretty severe disabilities.Need I remind you that she has waited months to take her son to the doctor even though she has had concerns.
I’ll be interested to see if there is another follow up post about her going to the doctor..and she will twist it to make herself look like she is the aggrieved party here. Literally nobody on the Dr. Amy post is defending her and what’s more, it has been suggested that if someone knows where she is ,who she is, that they need to report her to CPS. I agree with that. Unfortunately if they take her kids away from her, she will go on a rant on her crunchy parents’ Facebook page.
