There aren’t that many people(apart from outside of the conservative Catholic blogosphere) who support him. TM is one of them and there are a few others.
Cardinal Burke gets support because oh no, he got the beer virus and almost died. Well, what you have to know is that he was a anti-masker.If that isn’t karma, I don’t know what is. Never have understood the need to “fight the man” WRT masking and getting booster shots. TM has never liked the idea of Communion in the hand but it’s become necessary because of the beer virus. Communion on the tongue is just asking to get the beer virus in this day and age. I don’t go to Mass very often and when i pay attention(this is before everything happened) I would say that the vast majority of people take Communion in the hand. As I say all the time I grew up in the Church post-Vatican II so it’s what I know. The fact that people like Vigano and TM are trying to set the Catholic Church back many many many years.
You want to know the extent to which Vigano hates Pope Francis?He won’t even call Pope Francis Pope.He just calls him “Bergolio” and does not acknowledge him as Pope. Claims that Benedict’s resignation was not legitimate and he has(still) been Pope all this time. TM doesn’t like Pope Francis(and how!) but at least he refers to him by name.But TM gives Vigano a place to vent his spleen .
Vigano doesn’t give a shit about his haters.That much is obvious.Especially right now when he has stated MULTIPLE times how he feels about the current Catholic Church. “Fuck the haters”, y’know?(I don’t think he’d say it *exactly* that way but given how he keeps going on and on about how the 2013 Conclave needs to be investigated…..That’s not happening so sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up,Vigano.
