roaming_kate23Both Pope Francis and Benedict are consecrating Russia. Guess who TM is putting first and foremost and acting like the other doesn’t exist?Yep.Pope Francis. I thought he couldn’t be even more obnoxious but apparently I was wrong.
Seriously:Who is Pope right now?It’s not Benedict. Y’all know that I was not a fan of Benedict but even I can appreciate that this dual consecration thing is a big deal for any number of reasons.But it brings out all of the Benedict stans who want to act like Pope Francis was never elected. He was.It’s been 9 years-the best part of a decade-and you want to keep going?
Don’t get the mindset of TM’s cult members where they are wanting to act like the Church is in the pre-Vatican II era..IOW don’t get them started on the modernisation in the Church.For some of us, modern is all we have known. Is saying that a lot of converts like the “old ways” inaccurate?Nope.Not at all.That being said, there are plenty of converts who *aren’t* that way.
Those of us who grew up in the “modern”, “awful” Vatican II church get shouted down when we try to point out the ridiculousness of what TM and his cult members believe. Because TM is SO correct and a LOT of people agree with him.Yeah right. I would be curious to see how many of his followers on all of his social media are bots or people who he has paid for.That’s a lot more common than you’d think.
