What I love, and it’s not hard to do, is that if you spend more than $30 shipping is free.Going to remember that for future reference.Got a couple of familiar ones and something new(Mexico, which the lady at the store recommended when I got my machine.I didn’t buy it at the time but did take it under advisement.)
*After several times of not delivering Meals On Wheels we are delivering again and we have a lot more people(my dad and I did it on Thursday and we had 5 ..the most we have had in quite a long time.The most we EVER had was 22 and we got that done no problem.
I’ll tell you what has helped tremendously is the Meals On Wheels app.The way we used to do things was old school but it worked..but the new way is so much better..GPS is your friend when you’re doing Meals On Wheels *and* it’s in what can only be called a sprawling area. They mostly have us going from point a to point b to..you get the idea. Sometimes we go a *little* out of our way but not much.
In the old days there was some going a bit afield and that was fine.We are at the point where we’re knowing every nook and cranny of Oceanside and Vista like the back of our hand.
Well, we have been doing Meals On Wheels for many years now. There are people who have been doing Meals On Wheels a few(4 or 5 or more) years than my mom and I have.
I always say that when I don’t want to do Meals On Wheels anymore I’ll let my mom know.Or she’ll say she doesn’t want to do it anymore.But I don’t think either of us are close right now.Do we have days where it’s challenging and things go a bit wrong I have said “I just don’t know” but manage to talk myself down eventually.
