roaming_kate23Soon after my first cruise I discovered Cruise Critic..over the past few years it has become a place where many people have become negative about everything HAL
(Not anything new-but it has definitely..searches for a word and settles on “intensified”)
Posters who have nothing to say
(Except to bitch)
“Orlando is trying to ruin the company”
(There IS a lot of that!)
No one hates HAL
(Actually yes they do..but yet they still book cruises with them)
They just complain about change
(Indeed they do..and you can try to set them straight until the cows come home)
I know what you mean about the chronic complainers..I see their name and know I’ll be reading something negative
(*cough*Hurt Hands*cough*)
People worried about what brand of yogurt is on the cruise
(Among other things...)
There is a large entitlement attitude among 4 and 5 star cruisers
(Fortunately the only-and I do mean only-place you’re gonna find that sort of attitude is on the Cruise Critic HAL boards,)
People writing about the cutbacks and then go on about losing the library or formal nights
(Some people aren’t happy unless they’re bitching about *something*)
The company needs goodwill ambassadors.Someone who can soothe hurt feelings
(Given how obnoxious some of the posters on the HAL boards are,the ambassadors would have their work cut out for them...)
..Happy being stuck in a rut
(Which I have been saying for a long time...)
The loss of the library is important to some passengers
(The vast majority of HAL cruisers, however, could not give a fuck.)
Don’t care that HAL tries new things
(Exactly. The Average HAL cruiser does’t care.HAL is moving on, in order, as I have said so many times, to be relevant. If they didn’t, they would be the dinosaur of cruise lines.)
