roaming_kate23I mean, her Twitter is private and she hasn’t posted anything for a long time..but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t still ranting about Fannibals still.
Supposedly she has another Medium page after the one she had got taken down(because she was doing nothing but talking shit about people that she thinks are against her(including me and several of my friends . I would love to feel like I was some sort of “Fandom leader”..but I’m not.And it’s the opposite of what I am like..I’m just not a leader and what’s more,in as much as I am a Fannibal, I am content to be..in the background isn’t quite the right word but it fits. I think in the past I would have been wanting to be so..this was when the show was still on the air, to give you some idea.
There were definitely some “fandom leaders” and people who wanted to be close to Bryan Fuller.It’s interesting because both of them are no longer as active in the fandom as they used to be.One of them was a super fan who was always promoting the show.Thar person could be polarising because she preferred to avoid the drama and was quite vocal about it, quite often.She also did Hannibal merch(which the Fandom Troll did not like said it was cheap, etc. and was taking advantage of Fannibals who will buy anything Hannibal related.My question is:Why the fuck does she care?I am not surer why she cares what the people in the fandom do.It’s their money to spend the way that they want to. That is the textbook definition of “gatekeeping”.
The second is someone I have alluded to several times..she was very good friends with Bryan Fuller..but at one point she befriended the Fandom Troll..she didn’t seem to understand why that was such a bad thing.I have to wonder if Bryan knew that she was friends with the Troll.If I were Bryan I would see that as the worst sort of betrayal. Is that harsh? Given what we have had to deal with from the Fandom Troll over the years,I do not think so.Not at all.
