There have been two hiking disasters-both of which ended badly.The bodies in both cases had hypothermia and tissue trauma. They were missing eyes, parts of the head. Why were they not dressed for the weather?
Then there’s the two comets /asteroids that have hit there. One in the early 20th century(you’ve probably seen a picture of it with all of the trees flattened..that was Siberia .Siberia, also, during wars, was where you were sent if you were an enemy of the country. It’s remote, miserably cold most of the year and if they send you out. In the middle of nowhere, nobody is going to know(that’s how it worked back then.)
Nicholas and Alexandra,the last Romanovs, were exiled to Ekaterinburg. It’s a remote area of Russia though not quite in Siberia. They were held at what was called The House Of Special Purpose .Of course, they were all assasinated after some time there.
