[RTBTCKI:The home stretch]
Aug. 3rd, 2025 07:27 am*I can say “I am going on a cruise in a couple weeks. “Yes, WEEKS.
Remember how I said that I was just going to use my biggest suitcase a didn’t care? WELL.. I am the owner of a new suitcase which is right in-between(sizewise) my large Samsonite and the smaller Samsonite one(which was fine for a short trip like going to my niece’s wedding.)
So yeah! BUSY.
*It’s amazing to me how: for every 3 restaurants in my neighbourhood that are closing down(and that has been happening SUPER frequently lately.Some really good places are gone.sad.)there’s 3 more opening. It’s the survival of the fittest.
*Started out slowly with my reading but now have hit my stride.She says that and you should know I am taking a HUGE book on the cruise with me(it’s a 2 weeks cruise and we will have *some* down time after all.)
*Thursday was my dad’s birthday and he did Meals On Wheels with my nephew and I and we went to a local park and had a picnic dinner then back to my parents’ house for cake and gifts.Made sure he was well taken care of.
