Gots to love the people who go on and on about how HAL “used” to be.(/sarcasm]
Pining for the crew shows and Love In Any Language which is this schmaltzy song that they would sing at the end of the crew shows and it gets people tearing up.Yeah, OK.
The Yum Yum Man who would hand out mints in front of the MDR(main dining room)
Prinsendam -which HAL no longer owns-was a “intimate” experience.The problem with that is as with the older ships, they defer maintenance.
Well behaved kids on ships(and not the usual hellions that supposedly roam around in huge groups on HAL ships as frequently happy when someone says that HAL is not a kid-friendly cruise line.
People complaining about all of the things that HAL has “taken away” from them. And a comment about everything that made HAL great is gone.

The old logo which had an old sailing ship-which went away.At the time this was a HUGE controversy-well if you’re a HAL diehard it was.Otherwise,not so much. There was a rumour that it had something to do with the ship pictured being a slave ship(googled it-not true.I would have LOVED to see people defend HAL if it had been true. I have seen people defend HAL for the *stupidest* shit.)
