[Pope Leo the 14th -The Awesome]
Thursday, 15 May 2025 06:58One quick point before I get into the post:You may notice that the name of the tag has changed:Yes!And I will get into that presently.And there is something else but I will leave that for the end.
It’s been a week since Pope Leo the 14th became Pope and I’ve had time to see what kind of Pope he is going to be.An excellent one as it turns out! He is a Pope of the people and after only a week his approval rating is through the roof! Even non-Catholics LOVE him. The fact that he is an American Pope-and from Chicago-is getting a lot of play!
Now, it’s who is a fan which is surprising: TM.Yes, you read that right.TM has gone over to the liking Pope Leo side.We’ll see how long this lasts but it’s taken people who know what TM can be like by surprise. That doesn’t excuse all of the Pope Francis bashing that he did over the years.Not at freaking all. The best part is that Leo the 14th *hates* MAGAS.I guess for TM that is the lesser of two evils?
Other people who hated Pope Francis are taking up TM’s mantle.They have their Pope hating hats(MAGA hats ,really.) There is much more of it than you would think but as I said at the start of the post:His approval rating is VERY high and he’s been Pope for a hot minute.
The new Pope’s name is what shut the people who believe in the Prophecy Of The Popes.That, as I have mentioned in several posts, has been debunked several times over.He did not take the name Peter(as the last Pope will be named.).
Well, here is the thing: It’s a bit of a no-no for Popes to take that name, out of respect for St. Peter, the first Pope. That’s how you know that that “prophecy” is bullshit.Do you think people who believe in that “prophecy” have ever considered that?Of course not. The people that believe in it do so full stop.
Oh and the second thing I mentioned?I have two tags for this post.In the almost 6 years that I have been blogging at Dreamwidth-I do believe that’s a first!
