Bishop Sitka called TM out because TM said that he is going to have 30 plus people over at his house for Thanksgiving.Can you say “super spreader event?” I can. Sitka called TM a “nut”(which he absolutely is)
Of course TM’s cult members were all over that.Apparently Bishop Sitka said that he was being harassed by TM’s cult members(and it IS a cult, make no mistake.)I completely agree with Bishop Sitka-it’s time to put a kibosh on TM-he(TM) seems to think that he is attracting more cult members every day..not really.I would say that the vast majority of Catholics who go to a garden variety post-Vatican II Mass(except not in person right now or social distancing-social distancing Masses have become a thing in a lot of places and here, where the weather is nice the majority of the time, it makes a lot of sense.TM likes to think he has a lot of sway..but he’s not a priest, he’s not a cardinal(the sort of people who would have the authority to make those sorts of decisions ) then, yeah, not really. Excommunicating people?deciding who the Pope should be(and I have mentioned on more than one occasion how much he dislikes Pope Francis.I don’t consider myself religious anymore but I have a lot of respect for Pope Francis because he’s a think outside the box sort of Pope.And that pisses some people(TM among them) off.
TM’s response is to say that Bishop Sitka has been “stalking” him for a while.More like it is the other way around.He is so annoying that several well known bishops have him blocked.TM is the one doing the stalking-his thing is to make ad hominem attacks and then block them when they try to respond to defend themselves. That is a asshole move.He’s become more strident over the years(just look at how he was in the run up to the most recent election-he still thinks T***p won.The textbook definition of “delusional” if you ask me. He’s no longer doing a show with someone who was a friend of his for YEARS-and yes, it does very much have everything to do with his stridency as of late.
Popular opinion is that he’s going to take it to an even more extreme level and become a sedevacantist * He’s already headed that way, as are his cult members.I don’t think all of them are headed that way but if they have been listening to him for any amount of time they have considered it.
* Sede Vacante time between popes, as what happens before and during a conclave.There’s a part during the Mass where we say(name of Pope)..but when we were between Popes(like we were for a little bit in 2013) we leave that part out. Luckily that didn’t last very long and we got Pope Francis :) )
Not to be confused with Sedevacantists who stole that phrasing for their own.They do not believe that the current Pope is ,well, kosher. They have their own governing system but they are EXTREME, which is why I can totally buy that T(B)M lol is down with them.I mean he already goes to a Latin Mass even though he doesn’t like driving as far as he has to just to go to a Latin Mass. Dude, it’s not like you live in the middle of nowhere,you live near a VERY large city.I find it hard to believe that you have to do any sort of driving to get to a Latin Mass. God forbid he should go to a garden variety post-Vatican II church(which is what I grew up going to every Sunday).He would burst into flames.
