Sunday, 23 August 2020 10:41Do the posters on the Cruise Critic HAL boards not realise that March, or April, or even May are NOT that far away(in the scheme of things) and that they will not be cruising then, or ever, possibly.But they keep booking cruises.Apparently they have enough money to do that. A LOT. Thing is, they keep moving the time that HAL cruises are going to happen. This is true of most of the cruise lines out there but a few of them have started up again(with a LOT of caveats).
MSC is one, and a family were thrown off of their cruise because they broke the rules about wandering away from a cruise line-only excursion.I would be fine(for now) doing a cruise -only excursion.
There was this comment:

(If you go on an excursion especially if there are multiple ships in port there is going to be a pretty large amount of herding around. Someone commented that after everything that has happened, it sounded good to them.I wouldn’t go THAT far but I semi agree with that...)

The “New” cruise world is not interesting to us
(My response to this is:To each her/his own. When we can travel again,I have ideas of several land vacations that I want to do.)
Of course you had the person that thought that it was “outrageous” that the family were thrown off the ship and that they paid for the cruise.Dipshit, THEY👏BROKE👏THE👏RULES. Not a bit sorry for the allcaps. Good for MSC for enforcing their rules.
