People think that they are going to be cruising again late in the fall. This seems very unlikely, Europe is not allowing tourists until at *least* September and if people think they are going to go on a European cruise this year they are sadly mistaken. A land tour, maybe(that’s what my next trip is going to be but I’m not making any sort of decision .I have a few ideas but seeing as how things change from day to day I’m monitoring the situation.
There’s a lot of people who are booking cruises right now-they don’t know what the situation is but they are so anxious to be on a cruise ship again-and they know that it might not happen.
*sigh*
Here’s my thing: I have any number of reasons that I don’t feel like cruising might not be for me anymore.The obvious ones.I have been really lucky and I haven’t gotten Norovirus. I’ve been extremely lucky in that sense.
On the flip side of that:I like not having to make my bed every day and I love going to the Lido and MDR(and sometimes the Dive In) every day.
(I was talking to my parents about Guy’s Burger’s and how everyone thinks it’s so great and how I felt the same way about the Dive In(overhyped)..Then I tried a burger(and then a hot dog-not at the same time) and I got why people like it so much.From what I’ve heard about Guy’s Burgers they just have a bunch of hamburgers ready to go and make them up however you like them. Yeah..I’ll take a Dive In burger ever time.I also like Holland America’s pizza(on the ships that have the New York Deli..but I really like Holland America’s pizza that they have in the Lido on the ones that don’t.
