We have the asshole who says that if you don’t want to dress up for Gala Night just go to the Lido and then back to your room.That’s it.
Well...That has been bad advice for several years now, but this particular poster(and a few other posters including Rev. Douchebag) still seem to think this is good advice.Well, it’s not.Mind you this is(talking about Rev. Douchebag here) who posted pictures of someone that he did not think was appropriately dressed for formal night,And he got a LOT of shit for it. See also:The person(who I have also talked about before) who went in on a poster who dared to mention wearing shorts.Old, crusty poster(not being ageist because he was both of those things) said that shorts should never be worn anywhere on the ship, save for ones’ cabin.
Fortunately there were lots of people saying that that advice was outdated, etc. which, good.
And someone else said to ignore the old school people.
Yes.And yet there are a few(operative word being “few” who have to push their agendas of what they think HAL should be(IOW Downton Abbey on the seas).They just keep on complaining.Not just on Cruise Critic.. there are quite a few of them on the Cruise Critic Facebook page(I always wonder if the complainers there are the same ones on Cruise Critic and I know for a fact that some of them do also post on Cruise Critic but as for the others..they think they’re hiding or that Holland America won’t know who they are but as I’ve said before that’s so far from true it’s not funny.
