Some of the ports are terrible-Guatemala?really?
(I have been to Guatemala-I loved it! There are some ports that they try to warn you away from- Morocco is one of them but I LOVED it! I guess I’m much more adventurous when it comes to travel-When I’m allowed I would love to go to(among other things) South America(I’ve been to Colombia but would love to go to Peru and Brazil.)
Meanwhile, people are trying to discourage people with kids from cruising on HAL:
If you go on Royal Caribbean, you’ll find HAL boring
(Kids are NOT bored, the HAL kids and teen club has a lot of things going for kids. When we were on our Alaskan cruise we never saw my nephews because they were either at the teen club or they were hanging out with the new friends they made and friended on Facebook when they got home.
The concern that I have is with how enamoured you are of Royal Caribbean
(That’s quite a conclusion to jump to. HAL cruisers like to think a certain way about other cruise lines and their ships. I mean, you have seen plenty of examples of that.
The one that comes right to mind is the way that during the sail aways they would diss other cruise lines’ ships especially if they perceived that they were in the way of HAL ships or they were NOT in premium areas..you ever think that maybe it’s based on how many ships they have in port at any one time? Because there are some days when they have a LOT of ships in port. Trust me, where the ships are does not have anything to do with it being a “diss”..like HAL is inferior in some way..It’s not.. Like HAL is the red headed stepchild of cruise lines-that is ridiculous.(I don’t like to use the phrase “Red headed stepchild because I have a family member with red hair but it fits here.)
