(Maintenance has always been deferred especially on the older ships.)

Hardly a surprise,
(Exactly.People think they are going to be cruising..soon and it’s not gonna happen as much as they want it to.)
Anyone who thinks that cruising was about to return is an optimistic.

(It’s certainly possible..I hate to say it but HAL is hanging on by a thread)
Why do you always assume the worst
(I don’t think ships being sold is “The worst”..actually it depends on what shape the ships are in when they’re sold.)
*Meet and green pictures
Portly Princess recognised herself. Of course she did. With the bad wigs and the muu muus she is NOT hard to spot.
*Adults only areas on HAL ships(AKA kid hate)
We like to have our quiet time whilst cruising
(Good freaking luck..)
Children on longer cruises have been prepared by their parents
(Though I seem to remember one poster complaining constantly that her kids were constantly being hassled by older, crusty cruisers on one of their longer cruises(IIRC it was a Panama Canal cruise which kids SHOULD get the chance to do..there were some kids on our cruise and I assume there was some way for them to keep up with their schoolwork.)
Books(no libraries and no book exchange
