[Y’all know my feelings about frankendogs]

roaming_kate23Did not know this until I read it the other day:Merle coloured Frenchies are not purebred -they are bred with other breeds of dogs to get the colouring-most commonly with Chihuahuas.Lord knows what kind of temperament you get with a dog like that.
The most common health issues are small eyes, or missing eyes, among other things.Granted, purebred French Bulldogs have a ton of health issues, the least of which is the fact that they have smushed faces and it makes it hard for them to breathe.And they’re such a popular breed that they are becoming overbred and inbred and with that you get an inferior dog.
In the area I live in several cities have banned pet stores.Which, good.There was a pet store at the mall that you could smell before you got to it.They did not clean the cages that the animals were in.That pet store got closed down and another one opened and once I was in there and in one section of the store ALL I could smell was shit.
You buy a dog from a pet store you get what you pay for.There are plenty of comments along the lines of the fact that the store is clean and they are happy with the dog that they got there,Equally as many are comments that the dog that was bought from a pet store was sick when they got it and had to shell out ridiculous amounts of money at the vet.
*Points at the subject line* Pet stores have many different kinds of frankendogs- Frenchie /Pug, Chihuahua/ Pug.. there are a million different variations. All of which are from puppy mills. I haven’t believed it when I see that dogs at pet stores are NOT from puppy mills.Of course they are.And they are NOT reputable. I’ve seen sick animals at the pet store. Another thing they do is have several dogs(sometimes of the same breed sometimes not) all in the same cage. And they’ll have more than one large breed dog(like a Great Dane) in the same cage.Those are NOT small dogs and they’re big when they’re puppies!
