[The best kind of surprise!]

roaming_kate23My niece showed up at my parents’ house and she goes “Look who I brought with me!” It was my sister-in-law-her mom! WE HAD NO IDEA!! My youngest niece, who is 15 had been visiting my older brother..they decided to bring her back and also to surprise my dad for his 80th birthday which is tomorrow. Originally the plan was to go to Oklahoma City and have a birthday party/family reunion there. Then ‘Rona happened.
Of course the surprise almost got ruined a couple of times-a long story but when I go back and think about the clues it’s like “Oh yeah!”
This is the most special birthday ever-all of us keep commenting on how amazing it is that my brother and his wife are able to be here for my dad’s birthday-and apparently it’s been in the planning for a month!
