roaming_kate23CaptainBenny(and yes I am using a variation of his screen names) has been a problem in the James Bond fandom for a long time.
The racist stuff is bad(not shit it is)and he acts as if he is this open minded Pearson when in point of fact he is FAR from it.He sent me a PM that where he called me a word(you can probably figure out which one.)I was not having it That was the thing that got him banned(though I know that he lurks.)
I get that he has problems in his life but like quite a few people who post/posted on the board he:
1) gets egged on by people who think his behaviour is OK(it is NOT).He is also on a HUGE power trip.He thinks that his moderator powers apply to all of the places that he posts/lurks at.Spoiler alert:It doesn’t.)
2)Opinions are like assholes.He kinda reminds me of the Fandom Troll in that was-except she is proud of her “unpopular opinions”. She uses it as a weapon against the people that she doesn’t like.
CaptainBenny on the other hand does not want to hear opposing opinions he doesn’t want to hear any sort of opposing opinions about the Bond films and franchise.-whether it be the films,the actors who have played Bond,and other aspects of the films.)With the Bond franchise having been around as long as it has there has been plenty of time for people to have opinions about everything related to the Bond fandom. Here’s the thing:Bring those things from the past back at your own peril. They have been parodied to within an inch of their lives by the Austin Powers films.So you can see why it is the worst idea EVER.
