[Fucking fandom wars]

roaming_kate23When you have multiple actors playing the same character it can cause ..issues.People get offended when you say that their favourite actor is not that great.
I have been experiencing this with the Bond fandom as there has been a rumour that a specific actor has been chosen to play the new James Bond.Never mind that this person is completely wrong for the job, he has mommy issues .His wife, who is 20 plus years older than him has links to the Bond fandom(she is friends with one of the producers.)Said producer is..too old to be a cougar but her behaviour is known in show biz and not a lot of people take mer serious. TL:DR? She fucked up the Bond franchise.
All this to say:This has re-upset some who feel a retain.kind of way about Daniel Craig’s portrayal ofJames Bond.I mean, like fucking obnoxious.One of the people I had dealings with was nasty as hell and it took a lot-up to and including sending racist private messages that he sent to me.There was no excuse for it.None. Just because he was moderator on a message board where opposing opinions were discouraged.
Also, it, unlike the board I posted on, was very much a dictatorship.
.The board I posted on was very welcoming.Were there flame wars between me and this person?yes, there were and I am NOT denying this.Not in the least.But the person I mentioned..well, he was unrepentant and continues to be *many* years later. With everything that has happened it’s upset him all over again.And it reinforces everything I know about him.
