My favourite neighbourhoods and why I love them:
Pt. Loma is so pretty, and also very diverse in terms of who lives there and also the houses(they are on the flight path for San Diego’s airport and the city paid for everyone who lives there to have better windows in their houses
Hillcrest:San Diego’s gay neighbourhood and one that has changed over the years.Lots of places to eat and shop.
Coronado:One of the best things about Coronado is that, even though it’s contained in a fairly small area there is everything you would need within a short drive. The Silver Strand on one end and North Island Naval base on the other.
Oceanside:Beaches beaches and more beaches.I may be a little biased because I live here!
Balboa Park:I’ve probably been to Balboa Park more than anyplace else in San Diego. Love walking across the Cabrillo bridge to go to the Old Globe. In the summertime it’s perfect. If you go on one side there is a dog park and it’s fun to stand there and watch the dogs for a minute. Also, there is an amazing view of downtown San Diego.
