roaming_kate23The Padres have been on a winning streak and long may it last.They have been in the World Series a couple of times only to get knocked out(I remember when I was a teenager and they got in only to be knocked out..I was inconsolable for quite a while.)
San Diego has a complicated relationship with sports teams. The Chargers went to Los Angeles and yet they still have a lot of fans here. Also, we’ve hosted the Super Bowl a couple of times and one time there was someone who was commentating who did nothing but shit talk San Diego the whole time.
Jack Murphy, where the Chargers used to play was knocked down and they built Snapdragon(yeah I don’t know about the name either.).When they played the first game there recently it was during the epic heatwave.Unfortunately there is NO shade to sit in.Like, NONE.Mind you, heat waves don’t happen that much in San Diego.But glad that they realised that and are going to fix it.
