roaming_kate23Just heard some interesting news about the new James Bond movie. Eventually I am going to put some things behind a cut but let me tell you:I am glad to see the end of Daniel Craig. He has become a whiny bitch about playing James Bond, especially in the last couple of years(mind you he’s been playing Bond for many years now but the amount of complaining that he has done..I have to wonder what is being said behind the scenes every time that he complains but maybe they can just brush it off because for the most part Daniel toes the company line .
And speaking of a company line.. it seems like there are a LOT of people who have seen the movie early-ish(there were a lot of people from MI6 which is a Bond website) hanging out at the premiere (they like to feel like they are close to greatness I guess..and it’s interesting because there have been spoilers posted at MI6 and..there has been some less than positive feedback .Mind you, this is a website that went ga-ga over Daniel Craig when Casino Royale was released. That’s changed somewhat over the course of his tenure of Bond because some of his Bond films were better than others, if we’re being honest(and I am).
OK, headed into spoiler territory so you have been warned .
When the movie starts Bond has settled down and has been our of service for a while.. He gets sent on the trail of a bad guy who is NOT Dr. No(that was one of the big rumours about this film). TL:DR?Bond gets killed at the end of the film. Oh yeah. They are putting a fine point on Daniel Craig’s last movie as James Bond. And it’s something that people have talked about is that James Bond is just a number and he can be anyone-not just Daniel Craig. It also means a reset of the Bond timeline. That is going to be interesting when the next Bond film comes out(whenever that is).Word is that the search for the new Bond is going to start next year and the next Bond film.. who the hell knows?
I was shocked to hear the above, but could have told you it was something kinda like that. It seems like jeez
