Apr. 3rd, 2025 08:02 amI dare say that The Black Stallion is the reason that people my age and a little bit older and a little bit younger went through a horse phase at sone point.And in my case I wound up horseback riding for many years and I loved it.My dream came true!
The books are a bit different from the movie(and vice versa.) in the books it is his uncle Alec is traveling with;in the movie it is his dad.In the books, Alec has red hair.Not so much in the films. I haven’t watched the sequel so don’t know if there are difference there,too. In the second film someone claims to be the horse’s owner(I thought he was on the ship with the horse..apparently not.)
