[A design for life, per the Manic Street Preachers]

This started at as “rules for the internet” but turned into “rules for life”

*If you’re going to talk mad shit about people online(and sometimes they deserve it-Mary Louise comes right to mind)use aliases.

*You WILL get in beefs with people over stupid shit.

*But some of those enemies may become your best friends(speaking from personal experience.)

*Have a good screen name(not practicing what I preach -obviously- because I have been on the internet since 1998 and I’ve had a few.)

*It’s OK to have an unpopular opinion..however when you take it to an unhealthy level(thinking the Fandom Troll very specifically .) not so much.

Getting into the general life things here:

*Boundaries are OK.Have them and make family and friends stick to them.

*Mental health days are OK.

*And on a related note:Never apologise for stuff you can’t control.
