Anyone remember the Life Saver book they always had every year at Christmas?If you got one of those you were a BALLER.I was reminded of them because I was at Walmart and they had a whole side of one aisle with holiday candy (I looked;apparently the Life Saver books were discontinued..I could swear that I have seen them in the stores tho.)
Also spotted at Walmart:Easy Bake Ovens.I never knew anyone who got an Easy Bake for Christmas so wasn’t missing out.What shocked me was that I picked one up to see how heavy it was-or not-and it wasn’t! Pretty sure that pretty much all of it is made out of plastic.And they didn’t used to be!They would last for. A while depending on how much you used them.And I have a dad who is like “Don’t replace stuff until it’s pretty much broke”(there are exceptions to that rule, of course.) When I was a kid one of the biggest deals was Big. Wheels(and yes,I had one!)
