[Weekend Report, October 4-6 2024]
Oct. 7th, 2024 07:25 amFriday:I had to go to the lab to get my bloodwork done. Had breakfast at Panera.
Headed to UTC(briefly) to stock up on coffee and then over to La Jolla Village Square. I’ve been getting ready for my trip next week.Yes, I am over organised!
Saturday:Encinitas(had to go to Trader Joe’s for their apple cider(a seasonal favourite of mine.).
Made shepherd’s pie(well, actually I made dessert-brownies-first-because those come together *very* quickly) then the shepherd’s pie.(this was my cooking weekend;I made pumpkin bread on Thursday.).I did a new twist on the shepherd’s pie -instead of mashed potatoes I used tater tots and got rave reviews all around!
My brother and his wife and nephew came over for dinner.
Sunday:Home early(via the grocery store).
