[Never thought this blog would be somewhat Duran-centric]

There is a Duran Duran documentary on Netflix.Oh ny gosh,I was singing along..and the footage from back in the day. I discovered Duran Duran in 1983 and was a hardcore fan for several years there. Covered any available surface with posters and pictures of the band.

During my walks I have been listening to podcasts(don’t worry, I pay attention to my surroundings!)Cherry Ice Cream Smile)(the name comes from a Duran Duran song)is my current favourite.Even though I haven’t been a hardcore fan for many years it still makes me happy. On one of the podcasts they were talking about the concert movies, and they welcomed anyone who saw themselves in there.to get in touch. I wonder how many of the fans are still Duran Duran fans and also are they embarrassed by how crazy they were?I fully admit that I was a crazy fan back in the day(my teachers, for the most part would have agreed but I did not want to hear it back then.I was deep in my Duran Duran era circa 1983-1985 and didn’t want. To know anything else. I mean,I didn’t really listen to anything OTHER than Duran Duran for a few years there. But it’s only with time(and hindsight)that I realise how much other GREAT music was around back then!
