[Ah one of my favourite subjects]
Jan. 28th, 2024 08:32 am1)Do you cook regularly or do you have someone cook for you?
Both.
2)What are you better at making?Sweet or savoury foods?
I love to bake and I know a lot of my most made things like the back of my hand.
3)If you had to work in a restaraunt of your choice which restaraunt would best compliment your culinary skills?
During the pandemic we started talking about things we would make if we had a “hypothetical” restaurant and we came up with a whole ass menu So that.
4)What is a cooking tip that you know but other people aren’t aware of.
Technically a twofer but:When you’re making cookie dough spray whatever you are putting them in with non stick spray so the cookies won’t stick(this also works when you are making soap molds.).The second is if you are doing that and are doing more than one layer of cookies separate them with a layer of wax paper.
5)Do you have a recipe you would like to share:
Shepherd’s pie.
1 pound of ground turkey
1 bag of frozen peas
1 bag of frozen corn
1 can of Durkee onions
1 package of fresh mushrooms
2 cans of golden mushroom soup
Milk
Mashed potatoss
Sautee mushrooms, set aside. Cook turkey.
In a large bowl mix together the onions, corn, peas and mushrooms.
Add in the turkey.
Make gravy in a separate bowl with 1 can of milk.
Add to the turkey/veggie mixture.
Put into a greased casserole dish.
Make instant mashed potatoes(I make about 8-10 servings)
Put on the top of the casserole.
Cook for an hour on 350 degrees,
Serve with a salad and bread!
Both.
