[Wander and wonder]
Jun. 19th, 2023 09:55 amMy brother and his wife and 2 of their 3 kids are going on a 3 week trip to France. High key wish I was going along too. There has been a lot going on this year so no trip to Europe or suchlike but next year I’m hoping. Just have to narrow it down to about a zillion places that I want to go.
A cruise may be one of the options-I found one that looks like a LOT of fun but it’s 2 weeks and I believe it starts(ends?) in Amsterdam which is someplace I have never been so we would have to stay there a few days to see the city, like what we did when we went to Rome.
There is so much to see in Rome, I think you could be a native Roman and not ever see all of it. See also:New York. I LOVED Athens, even though I wasn’t feeling the best when we were there and had to miss out on the second day.We got to go to the top of the Acropolis-which is something not a lot of people can say that they have done. I’ve also been to the Sistine Chapel which is impressive. Also, you see pictures of St. Peter’s Basilica and you think “impressive!” THEN..you see it IRL and it is W.O.W. I’m not even that religious, either, LOL.
